Hi everyone! My name's James Lambert and I wanted to post something here which highlights what this forum is hoping to achieve in my opinion. We are all here to learn from each other and we can do that by sharing our experiences, good and bad, for the benefit of all. Hope you like.
"Giving"
To get he had tried, yet his store was still meager.
To a wise man he cried, in a voice keen and eager;
"Pray tell me how I may successfully live?"
And the wise man replied,
"To get you must give."

As to giving he said, "What have I to give?"
I've scarce enough bread, and of course one must live;
But I would partake of Life's bountiful store.
Came the wise man's response;
"Then you must give more."

The lesson he learned. to get was forgotten,
Toward mankind he turned
with a love newbegotten.
As he gave of himself in unselfish living,
Then joy crowned his days,
for he grew rich in giving.

Great quote James!

I love that one, it really summarises what PTSA is all about.

Hi Dax and everyone else out there,

I've been reading a lot of your work Dax for some time, but only just come across this forum!

It's a great idea - just a shame that no one seems to be using it at the moment!
It would be great to be able to swap ideas with other Fitness Professionals...

Keep up the good work and hope to see some others online soon.

Thanks

Simon

Hi everyone -

My name is Sean Ryan, i am an aspiring Personal Trainer and Swimming Coach from the Buckinghamshire area (United Kingdom).

Presently i am studying with Premier Training doing the Gym Instructor Qualification (The Home study version), and this will be followed by the Personal Trainer Qualification and the Sports therapy Qualification.

Although i am currently not in the buisness (working in Finance at the local council) i still feel that it is never too early to learn and pick up information. This is why i have come across Dax's material and signed up to this forum.

I am not a newbie to sports and fitness. I have been a competitive swimmer for coming on 10 years, and more recently started weight training/land based training properly. I feel in my time as an athlete i have learnt a lot, and this experiance will help me in my future goals.

Obviously my main goal is to become a recognised Personal Training and be able to open my own Private Gym.

I hope to learn a lot of people here, and at the same time hope i can help some of you.

Regards,

Sean Ryan
